On May 10, 2005, a group of San Felipenean college and technical school graduates decided to form a fraternity/sorority. These group of graduates become the charter members of the Delta Upsilon Society of San Felipe. Upon forming the Society, the charter members began recruiting members with the stipulation that only graduates of four and two-year post high school education, and undergraduates who are currently in their second year will be eligible for admission.

The Delta Upsilon Society of San Felipe members share similar ideals, hopes, and purposes; bonded together by mutual understanding and dedicated in improving San Felipe through community service. Such a bond provides the Society which enable the members to become a poised and self-confident adults with greater appreciation and broader sympathies. This bond is further fortified by a group of true and understanding friends who will stand by him and her  throughout life. The outward manifestation of the philosophical underpinnings of Delta Upsilon Society are the ways in which we treat ourselves, each other, and those around us.
